Unlocking the mohawk cosmetic in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is done the same way players have completed the other events in the game. Basically, they need to attend classes and earn full stars for said classes. Upon doing so, players will be rewarded with crests equal to the number of stars they earned, which will then fill up a meter. At certain tiers, this meter will unlock rewards for the player, with the mohawk cosmetic being the final reward and requiring 30 crests to unlock....
Diagon Alley is an area Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players have already explored. It’s the first place they visit in the game, and it’s where they meet their best friend Rowan Khanna. There hasn’t been an option to return to Diagon Alley since that initial visit, but it appears as though that will change with Year 5, as the latest update has added a locked option to travel to Diagon Alley....
There’s no need to rush into the game, however. This Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery event is a rather casual one and doesn’t require any actual in-game participation. Within each of the Hogwarts houses is now a Christmas tree, with the Gryffindor tree decorated in red, the Ravenclaw with blue, yellow for Hufflepuff, and green for Slytherin. Players can visit their houses and see the trees for themselves, but for now, there are no ornaments yet adorn these trees....
In Year 3, Hogwarts Mystery players can start a side quest called Penny for Your Thoughts. The side quest revolves around Hufflepuff student Penny Haywood, who is one of the students players can befriend in the game. Penny, who is talented at brewing potions, wants to brew a Forgetfulness Potion to help her get rid of some painful memories from her past. Specifically, Penny wants to forget the time she watched her friend be brutally murdered by a werewolf....
Like most major new features in Niantic games, the SOS Training was only available to level 40 players at first and Niantic lowered the minimum requirement gradually after ensuring that no major bugs or other problems were present. At this point, every Wizards Unite witch and wizard who has hit level 4 (the minimum requirement for SOS Training) now has access to the game’s new skill trees and can start working through the new content and seeing what bonuses and enhancements are available....
Like just about any Harry Potter: Wizards Unite in-game event, the second year anniversary event features a list of tasks that witches and wizards can race through during the event to unlock a series of powerful rewards and XP. The list this time around isn’t too long compared to some of the other June 2021 events in Wizards Unite, which makes sense considering the short span of time the event is going to be live....
