First appearing in Year 5 Chapter 6 of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, Duncan Ashe was a Slytherin student who befriended the player character’s brother Jacob while he was at the school. Unfortunately, Duncan Ashe died while attempting to brew a particularly dangerous potion as part of the effort to access another Cursed Vault, and has blamed Jacob for his death ever since. Players interact with Duncan Ashe in Hogwarts Mystery while looking for the Marauder’s Map, a magical map that shows the location and names of everyone in Hogwarts....

They’re a fifth-year student who transferred in from a different school, which explains why they’re already a capable wizard or witch. The game features a light character customization system that isn’t “super detailed,” but still looks good.
