Korver collided with Lakers forward Ed Davis on a pick-and-roll play involving Jeremy Lin and immediately grimaced in pain.
The All-Star is averaging 12.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. He was already scheduled to sit out Monday’s game against the Kings, and the Hawks were not sure of a timetable for his return as of Sunday night, per ESPN’s Baxter Holmes.
Kent Bazemore started Monday in Korver’s place.
Korver is shooting a league-leading 50.4 percent from 3-point range, went 0-for-2 from beyond the arc against the Lakers to end his streak of 51 consecutive games with a 3-pointer.
The Hawks (52-14) began the night 10 games ahead of the Cavaliers for first in the Eastern Conference, so there’s no need to rush Korver back.
