In Year 5 Chapter 6, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery fans will attempt to learn more about the Marauder’s Map by talking with various Hogwarts ghosts in an attempt to gather information. They also have a new Charms spell to learn, Silencio, in addition to their first Care of Magical Creatures class this year, where they will be learning about fairies.

Jam City didn’t just add new story content to Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery with the latest update, though. It also added a brand new pet to adopt in the form of the Kneazle. Kneazles are magical creatures that are similar to cats, and players can adopt one from the in-game store for a total of 60 notebooks.

Unfortunately, getting 60 notebooks is close to impossible in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery without spending significant money on the game. Jam City has added some in-game events here and there where notebooks are a prize, but they only dole out a handful at a time. Notebooks can’t be purchased individually either; instead, players have to purchase notebooks as part of a bundle with gems.

At the time of this writing, there are a couple of bundles that are on sale in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery that feature notebooks. Prices may vary from one user to the next, but in our game, players can get 15 notebooks and 180 gems together for $15. So to get the 60 notebooks necessary to adopt the Kneazle, players potentially have to drop a whopping $60 on the game.

In the future, hopefully Jam City makes getting notebooks in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery a little easier, because as it stands, it’s virtually impossible to adopt some of the pets in the game.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
